Projects Overview
Projects in ZeroTwo help you organize your work into logical units. Each project can contain conversations, files, custom assistants, and team members, making it easy to keep related work together.Projects are perfect for separating different clients, products, research areas, or any context that benefits from organization and focused collaboration.
What is a Project?
A project is an isolated workspace within ZeroTwo that contains:Conversations
All chats related to the project context
Files & Documents
Uploaded files, generated documents, and resources
Custom Assistants
Project-specific AI assistants with tailored instructions
Team Members
Collaborators with defined roles and permissions
Shared Knowledge
Project memory and context shared across the team

Creating Your First Project

Open project menu
Click the Projects button in the sidebar or press
Cmd/Ctrl + P2
Click New Project
Click the + New Project button at the top of the projects panel

Enter project details
Fill in the project information:Project Name (required):Description (optional):Project Type:
- 📁 Personal - Solo work, private to you
- 👥 Team - Collaborative work with team members
- 🏢 Organization - Company-wide project

Configure initial settings
Set up project preferences:
- Default Model: Choose the primary AI model for this project
- Custom Instructions: Add project-specific context
- Privacy: Public (team) or Private (personal)
- Tools: Enable default tools for the project

Create project
Click Create Project to finalize
Your new project is ready! You’ll be automatically switched to the new project context.

- GPT-4o: Fast, versatile, good for most tasks
- Claude 3.5 Sonnet: Excellent for coding and analysis
- o1: Deep reasoning for complex problems
- Gemini 2.0 Flash: Quick responses with vision
Team members can still switch models per conversation. This just sets the default.

Archiving and Deleting Projects

- Click Archive Project
- Confirm archiving

- ❌ Team members can’t access (unless unarchived)

Before deleting:- Export important conversations
- Download important files
- Notify team members
- Consider archiving instead
- Archive the project first
- Go to Archived Projects
- Right-click > Delete Permanently
- Type project name to confirm
- Click Delete Project

- You have appropriate permissions (not available to guests)
- Browser has stable internet connection
- Free: 3 projects
- Pro: 25 projects

- Removed from project (if team project)
- Search/filter hiding it
