Get up and running with ZeroTwo in just a few minutes. This guide will walk you through creating an account, starting your first conversation, and exploring key features.
ZeroTwo replaces multiple AI platform subscriptions with a single powerful workspace. You get access to 50+ AI models, advanced tools, and team collaboration features.

Quick Start

Create Your Account

Visit zerotwo.ai and sign up with your email or Google account.Account options:
  • Email and password
  • Google SSO (instant access)
  • GitHub SSO (for developers)
Use Google SSO for the fastest signup - no email verification required.

Complete Onboarding

Answer a few quick questions to personalize your experience:
  • Your primary use case (coding, writing, research, etc.)
  • Preferred AI models
  • Team collaboration needs
These preferences help us optimize your experience, but you can change them anytime in Settings.

Start Your First Chat

You’ll land on the main chat interface. Simply:
  1. Type your message in the input box at the bottom
  2. Press Enter or click the send button
  3. Watch as AI responds in real-time
Try asking:
  • “Explain quantum computing in simple terms”
  • “Write a Python function to sort a list”
  • “Help me plan a marketing campaign”

Switch Models

Click the model selector at the top of the chat to try different AI models:
  • GPT-4o: Best for general tasks and code
  • Claude Sonnet 4: Excellent for long documents
  • Gemini 2.5 Pro: Great for multimodal tasks
You can switch models mid-conversation without losing context!

Canvas opens automatically when AI creates content that benefits from editing:

Projects for Organization

Create a project to keep related work organized:
  1. Click Projects in the left sidebar
  2. Click New Project
  3. Give it a name and description
  4. Add team members (optional)
  5. Start chatting within the project context
Projects maintain separate conversation history, files, and settings - perfect for organizing different workstreams.

Web Search for Current Info

Enable web search when you need real-time information:
  1. Click the Web Search toggle before sending your message
  2. Choose a focus (Auto, Research, News, etc.)
  3. AI will search the web and cite sources in the response

File Uploads for Context

Upload files to give AI more context:
  • Documents: PDFs, Word docs, text files
  • Images: For analysis or as references
  • Code: For review, debugging, or improvement
  • Data: CSVs, Excel files for analysis
  • Archives: ZIP files containing multiple documents
Simply drag and drop files into the chat or click the attachment icon.

Team Collaboration

Invite Team Members

  1. Create or open a Project
  2. Click Settings > Members
  3. Click Invite Members
  4. Enter email addresses
  5. Set permissions (Admin, Editor, Viewer)
  6. Send invitations

Share Conversations

Share individual conversations with colleagues:
  1. Click the Share button in chat header
  2. Choose sharing options:
    • Public link: Anyone with link can view
    • Team only: Only team members can access
    • Specific people: Select individuals
  3. Copy and share the link

Customization

Set Custom Instructions

Personalize how AI responds:
  1. Go to Settings > Preferences
  2. Scroll to Custom Instructions
  3. Add instructions like:
    • “Always write code with detailed comments”
    • “Use a casual, friendly tone”

Choose Default Model

Set your preferred default model:
  1. Go to Settings > Preferences
  2. Select Default Model
  3. Choose from available models
  4. Save changes
